I'm not sure when Valentines Day became a family holiday, but, love was in the air in our house this year. We had our first dinner by candlelight and then enjoyed the thrill of doorbell ditching a neighbor or two. In Activity Days, Lizzy made a "Love Box" which we have been filling with love notes to each other for the past few weeks. It was fun to open it and read why we love one another. It was nice to hear that I'm loved by Rosie because I am "pridy". Daddy and daughter had way too much fun creating Lizzy's Valentines box this year...it's amazing what you can do with casting material. Max declared his love to his "girlfriend" Brooke, by singing her a song he learned in Preschool. The lyrics are very simple: Valentine, Valentine, Won't you be my Valentine? Valentine, Valentine won't you be my Valentine? Valentine, Valentine....you get the picture. Luckily for us, he sang it to her on their families Voice Mail, so the song can be replayed over and over and over again. He may not appreciate that fact in a couple of years, but for now, it's simply adorable, just like him.
